The Third Day

 The Third Day

On the third day
we found a radio
sleeping in the garage.

It woke
to soft music,

and the silence
opened

like dry earth
meeting rain.

The empty rooms
remembered breath.

Our hearts, too.

A dark screen
is only absence.

A song
is enough.
